Forests Ontario is the leading charity focused on the management and delivery of high-quality tree planting programs, interactive forest education resources and awareness-driven community initiatives dedicated to making our forests greener. Together with our planting partners across the country, we have successfully planted approximately 43 million trees to date, and enhanced, maintained, and created more than 1,000 hectares of grassland habitat.
Through Forest Recovery Canada, our national division, we are expanding our work across the country to collaborate with municipalities, organizations, and Indigenous communities to increase forest cover, restore forests impacted by natural occurrences and improve forest conditions, while inspiring the next generation to connect with nature and learn more about the importance of healthy, thriving forests in our communities.

We ensure that the right trees are planted in the right place for the right reason. Over the 2024 planting season, we supported the planting of over 2.7 million trees with 53 planting partners across Canada.
