Right now, they need school snacks for the kids and youth they serve. A healthy snack goes a long way in helping these young ones focus on their studies while they navigate tough times. Julliette’s Place was envisioned by a group of compassionate socially concerned individuals from Scarborough whose goal was to uplift women fleeing domestic violence. It is the first known facility of its kind in Toronto designed specifically as a shelter. Funded by the Ministry of Community and Social Services and the Ministry of Housing, provide services to abused women and children only. Julliette's Place (Homeward Family Shelter) provides safe, short-term emergency shelter to women and children fleeing violence and abuse and helps them to build their skills through educational programs and support services.
